Awakened vs Asleep

51-Signs-That-Say-You-Are-Spiritually-Awakened.jpg

What does it mean to be consciously “awakened?” And how do you know if you’re “awake” or “asleep?”

It honestly means different things to different people because we all experience a different version of something that happens to change our perception of the world, ourselves and others.

There are a few key things that come to my mind to differentiate between an awakened, or awakening, person and one who is still “sleeping.”

Sleepers focus on the 3D “matrix” world problems and are usually concerned with things like local and national “news,” politics, politicians, patriotism, country, illegals and protecting their gun rights.

They are actually quite comfortable being “controlled” by the 3d matrix governments and people who pull the strings behind the scenes because it’s what they know and are used to.

They believe that their generations are better than any others and that the newest generations are weak and lazy. They hold on to their ways and speak down about others that they do not understand.

They blame parents for not “kicking enough ass,” when what they don’t realize is that there is a reason for the newest generations and that they are super important, just as good AND – will eventually save the world.

Unfortunately, they do believe and/or feel that a war is at hand – but they are confused, usually by the media, about who (or what) it is we are truly at war with.

When you awaken, all of those things usually fall away because something in your heart softens and something in your mind switches on.

Peace, love, compassion, understanding and concern for things like the environment and animals.

Suddenly you may become concerned with one time use plastics and the ocean and you feel a common link with all of humanity. You may even become compassionate and realize that all other people are humans, (teehee) too, and that we all deserve a life of safety, “freedom” and plenitude of good food and clean water.

You become hyper aware of what you’re putting in your body and you start craving less sugar and processed food and more of organic, natural food.

You start reconsidering your career path and also weighing the options of the people and places you surround yourself with and put yourself in because the “energy” of it all affects you.

Synchronicities become almost ridiculous. Almost as if they are just showing off.

You may feel a spike in your intuition and even feel “psychic” at times.

You may notice that you can see and/or feel other dimensions around you and you become like the ghost whisperer.

Dreams may become vivid, maybe lucid and sometimes super strange.

You may start to feel more spiritual and reconsider your concept of God and religion.

Maybe you get a massive alien vibe and realize how connected we are to the stars. Then you may stand outside and wait for your alien friends to come and get you… maybe that’s just me.

Please do not get this twisted though… awakened people have a purpose and so do the sleepers. Awakened people must still coordinate to the best of our ability with the 3D matrix and sleepers until something massive changes and either wakes them all up, or…?

If you start hearing things like, “the collective,” “the light,” “warrior,” “star seed” or anything pertaining to these words or subjects, you’re probably in the middle of your awakening.

And if you don’t, then you may be one of the people who are asleep and you will only awaken when you are darned good and ready!!

Energy Waves

I have felt a massive influx of energy in the last few days and things are sparking up and acting up in every direction.

I feel it’s one of those times to strap your seatbelt on and prepare for a ride. Not all people fancy roller coasters but I’m not sure that there is an option at this point. It’s probably not the best time to make crazy, rash decisions or anything like that, but that time is coming soon.

For now, I have found that the best things to do in times of extreme energy waves are:

1 – Realize that it’s happening and take a few deep breaths and relax. Whether it’s extreme up or extreme down – this too shall pass

2 – Maintain balance by paying attention to your thoughts and actions and meditating or at least take a few moments being aware of yourself and your feelings and recalibrate if necessary.

3 – Get a good laugh and spend time with people who make you happy.

4 – Take a walk or get some fresh air. Be present in the moment and let everything else go for a few minutes. You can always revisit any issues you are dealing with afterwards.

5 – Go for a swim, if possible, or take a nice bath or shower. Nothing helps you balance better than spending a few moments in cleansing and rejuvenating water.

6 – Drink plenty of water and watch what you eat. These types of energies sometimes make us lean towards choices that make us happy at the moment but feel sad or bad later.

7 – Be grateful. This will probably be on every list I ever make for every reason and probably should be number one. Being grateful for what you have makes you crave less and reduces anxiety as well as brings thoughts of happiness and joy.

8 – Focus on something besides yourself. Help a friend or neighbor with something or even volunteer your time at a non profit or animal shelter.

The waves of energy tell me that things are changing and that sometimes we have to experience unsettling things or even go through a physical sickness in order for us to cleanse the old and bring in the new.

So if you have been sick lately or felt like you are on a roller coaster of emotions just realize that your body is recalibrating and getting ready to usher in some new and improved positive energy all around you.

Back to Basics

For years I have had a thought in the back of my mind to buy land somewhere, go off grid and take my family and friends with me. We’ll have our own little community of love and respect. We’ll mostly live off the land and gardens that we share and we will have no need for electronics or modern technology. It’ll be so pure and satisfying…

Then I wake up and realize that, unfortunately, that’s not reality. So, I came up with ten ways to feel like I’m making a difference and getting back to basics that are actually achievable in everyday life.

1 – Gratitude.

The easiest way to recognize what you already have and reduce the need for more stuff is by being grateful.

2 – Au Naturale.

Whether it’s your food or your body – go simplistic. Go back to the basic food groups and quit the contouring and primping for a day or 2.

3 – Go Green.

Drop the chemicals and pick up Pinterest. Apple cider vinegar, baking soda, and rubbing alcohol can fix and clean almost everything. Drop the plastic bottles and pick up reusable bottles. Reuse and recycle. Waste not, want not.

4 – Wi-Fi free zones

Have a space in your house that’s wi-fi free, like the dinner table, and have a conversation in person instead of on the phone.

5 – Go outside

Simplify your date night. Plan a hike or a walk in the park. Ditch the phones and screens for a while and hold hands instead.

6 – Be a Good Example

Work on showing the world the most beautiful part of you – your compassion and kindness. It’s contagious.

7 – Downsize

Start with your purse and just keep on purging.  Never hurts to clean out your beloved spaces and let go of things that are unnecessary or unused. Donate to a local charity and go one step further.

8 – Try exercise

Exercise is just as important as drinking water for our bodies, and getting into a routine that is attainable for you can help lift your mood and your health. Try taking up a yoga class, kickboxing, water aerobics. Even just a walk outside in your free time can be so beneficial for your health!

9 – Be creative

Try taking up a hobby that isn’t just watching a television show or scrolling along on social media. Pick up a book that seems interesting, practice some artistic skills, pick up a pencil or keyboard and give writing a try!

10 – Meditation and mindfulness

One of the most relaxing ways to get back to basics is to try meditation and mindful thinking. Take even just a few minutes out of your day to just sit, relax, and focus on your breathing. You may find that you feel so much more refreshed in both your mind and body.

These are just some ways that you can get back to basics and ground yourself in everyday life. If you have any other comments or suggestions, feel free to add your own!  Love, light, balance, and namaste!

Animal Instincts

20190119_160157.jpg

Many times in my life I have been fascinated by animals and their innate senses that allow them to communicate, form groups, recognize a threat, find food, water and shelter – without ever speaking words.

I realize that they communicate other ways but they are also born with some things in their DNA and that’s what fascinates me. They show emotions like love, fear and dislike. They build things, sometimes extremely complex things, and they follow a leader, if necessary, to survive.

I think that humans have the exact same innate senses, even more so, but that we actually dull them down and drown them out from birth with our controlled, modern world and all of our speech, advertising and technology.

This last year I have started quieting the brain that society has built and started listening to my true inner self and I have seen and felt massive changes in my mind, body, spirit and my life.

First of all it helped me connect to my higher self and higher power. Humans are the only species on earth, that we’re aware of, that seek out our creator and once you connect – it truly empowers and enlightens.

My diet has changed – I think I was honestly giving myself diabetes – and now I seek out low if not no sugar items and I’ve definitely lowered my overall sugar consumption. Too much not only adds weight but bogs down the mind and takes you up and drops you back down.

My body has told me to give it at least 20 minutes of exercise a day, a bowl of oatmeal after, drink lemon water and if I do that – I’ll be ok.

I drink tea now when I never did before. Not only store bought, but I make some myself. At least once a week I make a “tea” of hot water, cinnamon, turmeric, honey, lemon and cayenne pepper. Something tells me it keeps me healthier and honestly I can’t remember the last time I was ill.  I try not to even say the ‘S’ word because I think your body listens and responds to your verbal cues.

I try to take time every day for quiet time, like a self check in of all of my systems. Sometimes I meditate, sometimes I pray and sometimes I just try and process things.

I’ve learned to honestly try and throw love, light and compassion at every single thing that irks me and it most certainly makes me have more inner peace, if nothing else.

I feel like we were given the gift of these and other innate senses that tell us what we should eat and how best to live our lives for who we are and who we have been. Im not sure if enough people know how to listen, yet. I do feel like that is changing and I’m very grateful for that. I believe it will be a huge part of the change for humanity.

Don’t let your gift go to waste. Try and tune out all of the societal programming and noise from all around you for just a few moments a day and listen to what your higher self has to say. You might be surprised at what you hear.

What you seek – you will find

“Seek and ye shall find.” Just about everyone has heard this before and it comes from the King James version of the bible in Matthew 7:7-8.

“Be careful what you wish for – because you just might get it.” That one is relating back to an ancient Chinese proverb.

“Don’t go looking for trouble because you just might find it.” Based on Proverbs 11:27 that states “He who searches out good finds favor but evil will come to him who seeks it”.

My point being: We create our own reality. What you look for, you will absolutely find. If you go looking for negative things – you’ll absolutely find them. Likewise for positive things.

Also, what you seek may not be right for you and you’ll only know that when you get it. Being mindful of your wants and desires and recognizing why you desire them matters so much.

You can honestly manifest anything your heart desires into reality with belief and faith.

So I ask you to be consciously aware of your answer – what is it you seek??

Pseudo Kings – The answer to “Why don’t you do drugs?”

meditating-man

Someone asked me the other day why I choose not to do drugs. That was a brilliant question

This is meant to be a P.S.A., btw.

Here are some truths that may trigger some and may enlighten others…

Selling drugs is like owning your own business. You’re a pseudo king and an entrepreneur, and people need you. You control how much you make and how much you spend and your product is always in demand. It’s a high in and of itself.

And drugs are mastered in a way to comfort and kill you all at the same time. I believe people are always searching for what it feels like on the other side because they miss that feeling, and drugs, initially, make you feel a similar type of euphoria. But not without a price.

I believe that this is why so many people who finally get out of the bullshit, drama of the drug life end up being successful as business owners.

Also, why so many people relapse back into it after choosing or being forced out of it.

My answer to the question of why I don’t do drugs had to be more than just the obvious “Because they’re bad,” because everyone knows that. Everyone knows that they take people from families and homes and lives from people. I tried to go deeper for an answer. And these answers are what I came up with.

One, I don’t want to sell drugs. And in order to pay for your own habit – I figured out years ago – you have to sell.

I got tired of seeing desperate faces who would do just about anything to get high. I got tired of some of the places you end up when buying or selling; they were sometimes dark in ways that would haunt you.

I got so tired of the demand and the excuses like when they told me they had the money before I got there and now that I’m there – they do not.

I got tired of everyone robbing everyone. It’s an every day occurrence. I got tired of people robbing me.

There are no real, true friends in the drug world. You literally can trust no one.

There is so much running around. It’s an endless cycle of hell. And it makes you the worst kind of tired and worn out.

The threat of prison, jail and death don’t even make some people bat an eye – but it’s a damn good reason not to for me. Those places are the most miserable places on earth.

I was tired of looking in the mirror and seeing unhealthy me and losing more of that natural glow and muscle mass.

I was tired of something controlling me to the point that I WAS willing to lose everything to keep doing it.

When you’re using – your energy changes and people can feel it. Even if they don’t realize you are using – they have a natural resistance to your energy. I hate that as well. People will immediately feel a sense of distrust and that kills me.

I hate smoke shops. There’s nothing worst than having to go into a smoke shop asking for a “bubble” or “love buddy”. Because even if you state that it’s for a friend (duh) – it is known that you are smoking meth.

Last but not least –

I got tired of seeing people that I love die; figuratively and literally.

The end.
