I have felt a massive influx of energy in the last few days and things are sparking up and acting up in every direction.
I feel it’s one of those times to strap your seatbelt on and prepare for a ride. Not all people fancy roller coasters but I’m not sure that there is an option at this point. It’s probably not the best time to make crazy, rash decisions or anything like that, but that time is coming soon.
For now, I have found that the best things to do in times of extreme energy waves are:
1 – Realize that it’s happening and take a few deep breaths and relax. Whether it’s extreme up or extreme down – this too shall pass
2 – Maintain balance by paying attention to your thoughts and actions and meditating or at least take a few moments being aware of yourself and your feelings and recalibrate if necessary.
3 – Get a good laugh and spend time with people who make you happy.
4 – Take a walk or get some fresh air. Be present in the moment and let everything else go for a few minutes. You can always revisit any issues you are dealing with afterwards.
5 – Go for a swim, if possible, or take a nice bath or shower. Nothing helps you balance better than spending a few moments in cleansing and rejuvenating water.
6 – Drink plenty of water and watch what you eat. These types of energies sometimes make us lean towards choices that make us happy at the moment but feel sad or bad later.
7 – Be grateful. This will probably be on every list I ever make for every reason and probably should be number one. Being grateful for what you have makes you crave less and reduces anxiety as well as brings thoughts of happiness and joy.
8 – Focus on something besides yourself. Help a friend or neighbor with something or even volunteer your time at a non profit or animal shelter.
The waves of energy tell me that things are changing and that sometimes we have to experience unsettling things or even go through a physical sickness in order for us to cleanse the old and bring in the new.
So if you have been sick lately or felt like you are on a roller coaster of emotions just realize that your body is recalibrating and getting ready to usher in some new and improved positive energy all around you.
